Situation

Old well loved, cherry tree in front garden heavily leaning over front garden wall and pavement. Several rotting branches, but main trunk relatively sound at a lower level. Vigorous shoots growing around the base of the tree.

Action

Cut back dead and rotting branches to sound wood with careful pruning cuts. Prune shoots from base. Remove all cuttings. Tree no longer leans over wall and pavement and has a new lease of life. Looks nice.
